Hi Chris

Didn t you do well !

I would love to go up to London Zoo and see all the animals, and just right with the weather really.
I think being up there in the heat last week would have been too much.

Pleased you had such a good day BigGrin

Well i took off .Before any one got told of i was going .The night before i thought yes going
ZOO NICE I CARRIED A RAIN THING TIED ON ME AND GOT ON WITH IT .
Because i have a job to get out of bed sometimes which on my own i can say no won,t go today .

And i did not carrie anything much .With a mate it would had been maps sandwiches drinks . worrieing I just took off

I did it by bus from Kings cross .Number 30 then chase off down a road to catch the number 247 which i thought was 147 ha ha And had to ask .Slower a lot slower .Got there rested having a sandwich and a drink and sat watching something for a bit .Then on my feet doing the rest .I sat down before getting the bus to mable arch but got a seat on the bus .

Went for a walk feet hurting so went into the marroiett Hotel park lane for a nose round and looked at there pool which i fancied £25 for the day ekkkkk but nice swimming .5 star .

feet hurting so caught the bus going wrong way to kings cross 390 ha ha thought i would stay on for a look about till it chucked me off .Ended up in chelsie .Then caught bus too 390 to kings cross long way .
shocked at the amont of muslim people that are about there now along oxford street .

This country will soon be muslim if nothings done .

Any way got home 10ish i am 5 mins away from railway .
feet hurt but ok after a long sleep

I am going to take off too Scotland thats easy by train and even can have 5 hours there on a day trip
to Eninbough .
Melly yes i thought about meeting you like going to day and so i could had a time and place .
but lots of silly jobs in way so took off yesterday .

i will be back

How lovely Chrissie! Wish i was there.....

I took my eldest three children to the National Gallery last year for a religious art tour and it absolutely exhausted me!!

SO lovely though, I really miss trailing through art galleries and museums like we used to...

Love,

Amanda

Chrissie, you`ve got me out of breath just reading about your exploits!!

Edinburgh`s a beautiful city - the zoo`s nice there too. If you go, it`s a really lovely train ride, up through Northumberland.

Glad you enjoyed it Chrissie

I'm often in london- I love it and i only live about 1 hr away by train. i went up on saturday- oxford st was horrendous so crowded. I always get the bus a sthe tube is a nightmare so many crowds and stairs. I like to go on the top deck it's amazing what you see just like a tourist. I haven't been to the zoo for years. We sometimes go to whipsnade as we can drive the car round.
